Weekly Update 8/1/16
Greetings Life Community!
What an amazing day we had yesterday! We saw three people people join the church, one rededication, and a baptism! We would like to congratulate Jonathan Calvert, Tyler Mattingly, and Saddie Mattingly for their decisions to unite with the church.
We were also thankful to have three more people complete THE CLASS System; Nathan Booker, Kerri Booker, and Chris Simmons. They, as well as many others in our class, have went through all 4 Christian Education training seminars on Christian growth. If you have not done class 201, 301, and 401 make sure you do so. They are a tremendous blessing. Our next class 101 will be August 7th ad the next 201 will be August 14th.
Tonight is the first Monday of the month, which means its time for our monthly prayer service. 1st Monday is a great time to come together as a church and pray for God’s movement in our community, our families, and our church. I believe 1st monday is one of the most important things our church does. I hope you make it out tonight. 6:30pm at the Hall Street facility.
On Sunday morning, I introduced you to the L.I.F.E. challenge. List your network, Invite your Network, Follow Up with your network, and Engage your network with the gospel. I would like to encourage you to begin to pray about who you are going to invite to our campaign kick off on August 21st. Our campaign team has set a goal for 425 in attendance. I hope you take this challenge and invite your network.
Our campaign will mark a change in our church calendar. Life Groups will begin to be back in session and will meet on Wednesday nights and Sunday mornings. All life groups will be following the same curriculum (which will be in connection to what I’m preaching and the entire theme of the campaign). Kids Life will be moved to the Hall Street Facility on Wednesday nights and most groups will be meeting at the Hall Street Facility. Your kids can go to KIDS LIFE and you can go to Life Group.

We will begin reading this book on August 21st for a 40 day journey of learning what the Biblical Signs of life are.
In connection to our Campaign, we will be hosting our annual Community Block Party on August 20th on the lawn of Seven Hills School. We will have inflatables, music, games, and food. Our intention is to reach out to the neighborhoods and engage them with the love of Jesus.
Again, we hope to see you tonight at First Monday Prayer and also tomorrow night at our summer bible study. Both start at 6:30pm.
