Weekly Update 6/6/16

Off

Greetings Life Community,

We had a wonderful day yesterday at Life Community Church.  We were able to baptize 5 people!  We celebrate all that God is doing and his great grace.

We also finished our series “FROM GRIEF TO GLORY”.  This series covered the book of Ruth.  As normal, we record our messages and they are available on our website.  Sadly, we were not able to record one part of the series, this was the week after the fire as things were in flux, but all the other sermons, are available online.  Sunday’s sermon will be available later this week when it is edited.

Tonight is our monthly Prayer Service “FIRST MONDAY PRAYER”.  We hold these services monthly as we come together to pray and seek The Lord.  We have been having these services at Wing Ave, but since we have been able to move all of our ministry activities at Hall Street Baptist, we will also be conducting prayer there as well.  So our “FIRST MONDAY PRAYER” service will be held at Hall Street Baptist Church at 6:30pm tonight (June 6th).

Our Summer Bible Study is also in full swing.  We had a great crowd last Tuesday night and I hope you will come out this Tuesday night.  Summer Bible Study will be held at Hall Street Baptist Church in their fellowship hall.  The fellowship hall is located in the basement of Hall Street and is a great spot for bible study.  I hope you can make it.

Don’t forget that Vacation Bible School is on our radar.  It will be held the last week of June.  I want to encourage everyone to be involved, as Vacation Bible School makes a tremendous difference in the lives of both children and their parents.  VBS is a wonderful outreach and missions program.  I hope you are involved in serving.

We are also continuing to see God’s grace multiplied to us in the aftermath of the fire.  I am confident that God will continue to see us through this time of transition.  Let’s keep praying that we stay humbled and receptive to His Will and His Way.  The best place we can ever be is in a posture of humility and receptivity to what God has for us.  If we stay like this, we should expect to see God do a great work for his Kingdom.

I hope you have a great week and I hope to see you at First Monday Prayer tonight and at Summer Bible Study tomorrow night.

God Bless!
