Weekly Update 3/24/16
Greetings!
Holy Week is here! This is sacred week reminds us the final days of Jesus’ earthly ministry. On Sunday he rode into Jerusalem, cleared the temple on Monday, he would later be anointed by the sinful woman, on Thursday he would give the Last Supper, on Friday he would suffer, die, and be buried, on Saturday everyone was afraid, on Sunday he rose again! An amazing week.
I want to dedicate this entire email to this amazing week. I want to personally invite you to attend Easter Sunday with us at Life Community Church this weekend. We will be having normal services at 11am. I hope you bring your family and your friends with you as we worship the Living Savior.
In addition to that here a few Holy Week Updates for this week
· On Thursday Night gather with us at Apollo Heights Baptist Church on Tamarack Road (Near Apollo High School) as we join with a sister church to partake of The Lord’s Supper and worship.
· On Saturday come to Legion Park as our church will host a “Walk to Calvary” (6pm-8pm). This simplistic event will depict 4 to 5 scenes of the story of Jesus when He died. You will hear monologues from Peter, Mary, Malchus, and more. I hope you can make it.
· Early Sunday morning, 6am, we invite you to gather with us at Wing Ave Baptist Church for an Easter Sunrise Service. I have been asked to give a devotion that morning. We would love to have you.
· If you singed up to sing in the choir for Easter morning, please arrive at the Community College at 9am.
· Easter Morning celebration at 11am!!!! Meeting at Owensboro Community College! (Remember to invite your neighbors and friends to the service, Easter may be the only time someone agrees to come with you).
