Weekly Update: 9/24/13
Greetings LCC,
Hope your week is going well and that it’s blessed!
We are currently pressing forward with our fall spiritual growth campaign “WHAT ON EARTH AM I HERE FOR?” Groups are meeting, reading, and learning about their purpose in life. So far we’ve discovered… That God really is calling you (will you answer His call to learn your purpose in life?) Your First Purpose is to be Loved by God and your first calling is enjoy a relationship with God Jesus Christ really does love you! He really does have a plan for you. His death on the cross was his payment for our sins. I hope that encourages you today. If you’re not in a group there’s still time. You can jump in; just let us know. I do want you to mark your calendar for a couple of events.
We are going to reschedule our Birthday Service to Sunday Night OCTOBER 27th. We will already have the Logsdon Center and many people will be off work. We will be celebrating our Birthday one day early, but it will have the most potential of gathering us all together. Mark your calendar for this great night. We will also plan on baptizing that night too!
Our Next 101 Class (Membership) will be held at 2:45 on October 6th at the Logsdon Center. Class 101 is our entryway to becoming a member at Life Community. You will learn about Salvation, Our Structure, Our Statements, and Our Strategy. If you are considering uniting with Life Community plan on coming on the 6th. I know God will touch your heart.
Also, you might be considering baptism. If you are pray about signing up for baptism for our birthday service. I would love to talk with you about your decision.
If you completed class 301 and have not yet turned in your SHAPE profile, make sure you do so this Sunday. I will be attempting to go through them next week.
Let’s keep praying for our campaign. God is doing a great work! Let’s keep asking for miracles, let’s keep praying and expecting, let’s keep our eyes on Jesus Christ
