Weekly update 6/5/13

Greetings Life Community

I hope your week is going well.  We had a great day on Sunday as we began our new summer sermon series “Small Steps for Spiritual Growth”.  I hope that this summer is more than just just relaxation and fun, I hope it’s a season of spiritual growth and develpment for you and your family.  Next week we will be continuing our theme as we discuss “baptism” as a next step.

A Couple of updates.

201 THIS SUNDAY!-  Have you been through CLASS 201?  If you have completed 101, we encourae you to enroll in 201 this Sunday.  201 teaches us how to pray, study our Bible, how to understand giving, and the need for Small Groups (LIFE GROUPS).  CLASS 201 will begin @ 2:45 on Sunday, and we hope you can make it!  Shoot me an email if you plan on attending so we can prepare for you.  I’m very excited!

Also, don’t forget about our June outreach.  We will be having a Family movie night on Friday June 28th.  We encourage you to bring your kids but we also want you to invite your neighbors and their children.  We will have games, pop corn, and of course the movie.  I am hoping that we can use this as a way to connect with our neighbors and friends who have children and who don’t go to church.  If you would like to help with planning this just let me know.

Finally, we encourage you to sign up for our one day misssion project in Princeton Kentucky through HR ministries.  We will be leaving that morning (June 29th), working in their food pantry and clothes closet, and returning that evening.  This will be a great way to learn more about missions.

Youth Group will be meeting tonight @ 6:00.
