Weekly Update: 3/17/14
Life Community Church,
I would like to begin our weekly email by simply praising God for a great day that we had yesterday. We are very thankful for Jance Horn’s profession of faith in the service and Bridgett Smith’s decision to unite with Life Community. Decisions like these bring such encouragement to our church; reminding us that Connecting to Jesus Christ is the most important thing in the world! It should encourage us to be a connecting church, where we are excited to bring and invite our friends and family to encounter Jesus!
Our Praise Band did an awesome job last night at Glenville Baptist Church. Our school that we meet in does not have the best acoustics, so when we heard them at a place with good acoustics we were blown away! You thought they sounded good on a Sunday morning at 7 Hills, wait till you hear them in a room with good acoustics! Which very much excites me as we press forward into our new location. As announced yesterday, LCC will be transitioning to the Owensboro Community Technical College’s Auditorium on Palm Sunday. The auditorium is in the Humanities building on campus. It’s a beautiful auditorium that seats 300+ people with one of the largest parking lots in the city. I believe this is a God-thing and we are blessed! I am planning on a big day/ Welcome to the Community Service after we get in there. More details to come! (Remember, we are still at 7 Hills until April 13th).

Some quick updates
Baby Shower for Sam Rowe– makes plans to attend at the Logsdon
Center on April 6th @ 2pm. The Rowes are registered at Target.
Good Friday and Easter Sunrise– Special Good Friday Service, held at
Crosspointe Baptist @ 7pm Apr 18th and joint Sunrise Service with Wing
Ave on Easter morning (before normal celebration) * Note the Bulletin had the wrong date in it, the service will be on Good Friday
NYC Mission Team- Team NYC has 3 open slots available. If interested

Bless the Residents of Presidents Place– The Koonce Life Group will
be feeding The Presidents Place residents with a spaghetti dinner. April
5th, prep time1-5 serving time begins at 5.
Community Canvassing– Let’s make sure our neighbors know that we
will be changing locations. On April 12th help canvass our community.
