Greetings Life Community,
This upcoming Sunday will mark the 6th Sunday since our church wide campaign began on September 20th. We have studied the Person and Work of The Holy Spirit of God, but I also believe that we have drawn closer to God as a church family. If you have been present during these services you have witnessed salvations, unity, and a people who are responding to God. The Bible studies themselves have also been well attended and have taught us much and have brought us closer together as a church family. This has been a wonderful campaign.
To top it off, our church Birthday service will be held this Sunday night at 6:30pm 5:00pm. We will be using the facilities of Crosspointe Baptist Church, located on the west side of the county (behind Audubon Elementary School). Our youth Group and Kids will be meeting at 5pm there as well before the service. We will be celebrating 3 years since we launched as a church, with worship, praise, testimony, and The Lord’s Supper. This will be a great cap end to our Campaign. So let’s pack the house out on Sunday morning and gather again on Sunday night to celebrate the end of the campaign and our 3 year old birthday. (The Church launched on October 28th 2012).
- Remember to bring bags and bags of candy for Trail of Treats. We will be having a booth on St. Anne Street (number 49) next Thursday for the community wide “Trail of Treats”. We will have a “Minion” themed booth, so wear your overalls and yellow shirts! We will have a real live Minion for photo opps (kind of….ha!). Bring the candy on Sunday!
- Our Sunday Night Kids Life Program will begin work on their Christmas Program Nov 1st and the time will be changed to 5pm for all kids activities and youth beginning Nov 1st.
- As some of you know, we are attempting to have a booth at the BBQ festival next year. This is a large undertaking, but our cook team is getting things together by raising funds in participation for the cook. So they will be doing some smaller cooks to raise money for the supplies. During the actual BBQ festival they will sell the meat and 100% of the profits will go to Missions! I love the passion! This is a long haul and journey for this cook team and a big sacrifice, but they are hoping it helps missions!
- Let’s keep praying for God’s Spirit to move amongst us.
God Bless!
