Prayer Service Tonight 9/12/13

LCC,

I want to invite you out to our prayer service tonight, which will be held at one of our sister churches, Eaton Memorial Baptist.  Eaton is located at 1225 W 3rd St  Owensboro, KY 42301, by Goose Egg Park and near the Cadillac Motel and Restaurant.  Eaton will be allowing us to use their facilities as pray tonight.  Service begins @ 6:30.
Why a prayer service????  As we press forward with our spiritual growth campaign, entitled “WHAT ON EARTH AM I HERE FOR?”  We are praying that God does an amazing work in our midst.  We are praying that we have over 200 in our service, 80 adults in life groups, and 200 active members of our church.  These are goals that require us to call out on the Lord for help.

Remember, there are a lot of people in this city that are lost, lonely, confused about their purpose in life, and sadly on their way to Hell. In addition to those on the outside there are also those who part of Life Community who are growing, learning, and developing and need this extra push to keep on.  Life Community wants to reach out and trust me the devil doesn’t like that!   By crying out to God in prayer, we seek His help.  We acknowledge our weaknesses and our faith in God.  I would encourage you all to come tonight and pray. Let’s pray that God breaks down barriers, grows our church, makes the impossible possible, and to sends revival and awakening in our church, our community, and our families.

Let these verses about prayer encourage you:

1 Chronicles 16:11

Depend on the Lord and his strength; always go to him for help.

Psalm 4:1

Answer me when I pray to you, my God who does what is right. Make things easier for me when I am in trouble. Have mercy on me and hear my prayer.

Matthew 7:11

Even though you are bad, you know how to give good gifts to your children. How much more your heavenly Father will give good things to those who ask him

Luke 18:1

Then Jesus used this story to teach his followers that they should always pray and never lose hope

Romans 8:26

Also, the Spirit helps us with our weakness. We do not know how to pray as we should. But the Spirit himself speaks to God for us, even begs God for us with deep feelings that words cannot explain

Philippians 4:6

Do not worry about anything, but pray and ask God for every- thing you need, always giving thanks

Colossians 4:2

Continue praying, keeping alert, and always thanking God

James 5:16

Confess your sins to each other and pray for each other so God can heal you. When a believing person prays, great things happen

1 John 1:9

But if we confess our sins, he will forgive our sins, because we can trust God to do what is right. He will cleanse us from all the wrongs we have done.
God Bless
Pastor Kenny
