LCC Weekly Update: 2/21/14
Greetings LCC!
I want to begin this weeks update by simply stating; “Praise God!” We should all be very encouraged by a very successful friends and family day last Sunday. Not only did we have 206 in attendance (setting a new high attendance record) we also saw the potential that God has given us. I truly believe that God has great plans for Life Community Church. He has already changed many lives and I believe He is going to continue to change lives and to change our city. Never forget the power of an invitation…every day look for opportunities to invite your friends and family (not only to church) but to a saving relationship with Jesus Christ. As a connecting, caring, and changing church…let’s give Owensboro Kentucky Jesus!
We will be continuing our series “RELATIONSHIP RESCUE” this Sunday, so make sure you have plans on attending. Life Groups are still going strong and if you are not in one please contact me through email, check the website, or call the church office (270-926-1200) in getting involved in one.
As you may know, our New York City Mission Trip is pre-selling chickens and ribs for a fundraiser for our trip. The chickens and ribs will be cooked on March 1st. Thank you to all who have pre-sold the chickens and ribs Chickens are $8 and Ribs are Ribs are $16. If you would like, you will have a chance to order some this Sunday either before or after the service. The chickens and ribs will be picked up at 14th and JR.
