LCC Update: 7/23/13
Greetings LCC, Last night was the first night of our Vacation Bible School. We had 40 Kids and 36 adults! This is a tremendous number for our church. I encourage you to come out and have a great time at Bible School. Bring the kids as we learn about “Facing Fear and Trusting God” (which corresponds with our current sermon series at Life Community on Sunday Mornings). Bible School begins at 6 this evening, ends at 8, and will go through Thursday night.
Bible School is more than just a program for children, it’s a great outreach for the entire church. VBS draws us and bonds us together as a church family as we serve, love, and reach out in the Name of Jesus Christ. It also lets the community know that we care for them, their children, and that Life Community is a safe and loving place. I was so happy to see the kids smiling and learning about Jesus. I was also excited to see adults laughing and enjoying themselves.
I encourage you to keep praying for our Vacation Bible School throughout the week. Stop by and say hi, brings your kids, and enjoy! It’s being held at the Logsdon Community Center. We are also very grateful for Sam Rowe and Amanda Beeler as they are leading our VBS.
