LCC Update 4/6/15

What a tremendous weekend!  Holy Week 2015 was such a great reminder of what our Lord and Savior has done for us; from the “Living Last Supper” on Friday night to the powerful testimonies on Sunday morning.  We indeed serve a risen Jesus, who can still impact lives and is impacting lives.

It was also a great crowd yesterday morning with close to 250 people in attendance.  If you family or friends that came with you yesterday, invite them back with you next week, as we continue our series “TRANSFORMED”.  We will be talking about the life change of the Apostle Peter.

If you haven’t already, take a little bit of time to watch the Billy Graham video “THE CROSS” that we gave to you yesterday.  You may even want to pass it on to a friend at work.

For some time we have been trying to figure out the best time for our monthly prayer service.  With Life Groups in full swing (and growing), we want to keep the good flow of life groups on Wednesday nights and also the good attendance we have been having on Sunday nights with Kids Life and Youth Group.  So we are going to try “FIRST MONDAY”.  Wing Ave Baptist Church is very gracious to allow us to use their facility.  This will allow for a more worshipful environment for prayer than the Logsdon Center.  We are going to be consistent with “FIRST MONDAY” as we will gather to pray for all the prayer requests that have been offered.

We believe prayer to be very important.  God will bless your family and our church as we call on Him in a spirit of worship and prayer.  I hope to see you tonight at Wing Ave Baptist for the Life Community “First Monday” prayer service.  6:30pm.

I also want to invite you to our CLASS 101.  If you have been a regular attender at Life Community (seeking membership or would like to know more about LCC), this is the class for you.  It will take place on this Sunday afternoon at 2:45 (will last a couple of hours) and will explain who we are, where we are going, what we believe, and how we are structured.  I hope you can make it.  If you plan on attending shoot me an email and let me know.
