LCC update: 1/16/14
Greeting on this Thursday evening. I wasn’t able to send out the weekly update till tonight. Been a very busy week! I do hope that God has blessed you this week and I look forward to seeing you on Sunday.
We are happy to welcome to the church The Keel Family; Stephen, Celena, Hunter, and Tanner. We welcome them as our newest members at Life Community Church. In addition to this; Celena had a major surgery today. I had the chance to visit with the family at the University of Louisville Hospital. Happy to report that God brought Celena through the surgery and it was successful.
As we continue to press forward in 2014. I remind you that we desire to be a “CONNECTING, CARING, and CHANGING CHURCH” With that in mind…
- Life Groups are beginning in February! Makes sure you sign up for one!
- CLASS 301 is this Sunday! If you have completed 101 and 201 we encourage you to jump into 301. It’s all about learning your life ministry. A very insightful class to help you know how God uniquely shaped you. (Class 401 will be held at the Logsdon Center, the Sunday after this one)
- Be thinking about who you are going to invite to our annual Friend and Family Day. We are hoping to break 190 in attendance. Think about your friends and family that don’t have a church. This may be the one time that they are willing to go to church with you. Let’s make this BIG DAY a special day
- We will plan to Baptize Crystal and Jaylin Thomasson on Sunday at 1:30pm. They were scheduled to be baptized at Christmas Eve, but it just didn’t work out. I am happy that we can this Sunday. We will use the Eaton Memorial Baptist Church to baptize. I hope you will come and support them.
- The NYC mission team meeting will be postponed. It was scheduled for this Sunday, but due to the baptism we will postpone it
I’ve also been asked to place Paul Keller, who has cancer, onto our prayer list.
God bless!
