4/16/13 Update

Greetings LCC,

I hope everyone is having a good week so far.  I am amazed every week as we see God continue to grow our community.  Sunday morning we had a 127 people (including our children) and a full parking lot.  What a blessing!  I had orignally told folks to park just in the back, but given our attendance, you are free to park in the front if you want to.  Again, don’t feel like you have to, but if youw ant to this may help out parking situtation.  Keep inviting your friends and family, especially those that do not know the Lord.  As we pray for them, we will trust that God can save them.

Taran and I would like to formally say “thank you” to all those who blessed us during the baby shower.  Your gifts were very touching and we are very grateful.  Thank you very much.  We are honored to have a Church Family like you!

We will also be taking a couple of personal days (wednesday and thursday) for a little bit of family time before the baby comes.  Because of this we will not be having youth group tomorrow night. (wed).

A few updates from the bulletin:

•  Our next 101 Class (membership class) will be on April 28th.  If you are praying and considering uniting with LCC, we encourage you to attend @ 2:45 at the Logsdon Center
• We will have a booth at the BBQ festival for our May mission project. It is my desire to give out free bottles of water, balloons, and even giving away a gas grill.  This will be a great way to connect with our community and let them know we are church that cares.  We will need folks that would be willing to operate the booth, pray about serving.  If you would like to let me know.
• Mark your calendar for these dates:  World Changers Celebration Event- Jun 19th, One day mission trip to HR ministries in Princeton Ky- Jun 29th, Heartland Block Party- July 20th, Vacation Bible School- July 22-25th,
