LCC Weekly Update 1-26-16
Greetings Life Community!
I hope this weekly update finds you well today. I believe we had a wonderful day on Sunday as we encountered God’s presence, what a great reminder that we should always invite others to experience the power of God!
I wanted to begin this week’s weekly update with some great news. Life Community Church is proud to welcome Mrs. Mary Thompson as our Administrative Assistant. We are incredibly blessed to have someone of Mrs. Mary’s caliber working for LCC. Her and her husband Van Thompson served over 30 years in two countries in Africa as International Mission Board Missionaries. During that time they helped plant two churches and form seminaries and give support to national pastors. Mrs. Mary will began work today and will be in the office on Monday-Tuesday and Thursday-Friday from 9-3pm. We will begin to filter communications through her:

She will be able to answer calendar questions, general church questions, event questions, and able to get messages to me and schedule meetings with me. She will be a tremendous help in the moving forward of Life Community. Take a few moments to send her an email and let her know that Life Community church is thankful to have her. I hope when she opens up her mail box on Thursday morning she sees how good the people of LCC are! Also stop in and tell her hi!
A few quick updates
- Please pray for Marvin Crowley has he has surgery in Nortons in Louisville on Wednesday and Greg Kirby as he has surgery on OMHS on Friday morning
- Our Friend and Family Day is coming! Begin praying about the family and friends that are unchurched that you would like to invite. I will be beginning a new sermons series on that day on marriage and family! More details TBA!
- The next NYC mission trip deposit will be Feb 7th of $60
- Our Mid Year Family meeting will be held on February 28th
- The Youth are planning a YOUTH VALENTINES DAY Banquet on February 6th. T his will be an event to help our kids go to camp. THEY will be serving the ADULTS a wonderful spaghetti dinner. I am sure this will be a great night!
