Weekly Update 1/21/16

Off

Greetings Life Community,

This has already been an interesting week and it may become more interesting. With the snow that has fallen and the anticipated snow for tomorrow (Friday) it could become very slick and dangerous. Please use caution on Friday as you prepare for the snow. If you are in need please let myself or one of the deacons know. We want to make sure that everyone is safe this weekend.

For this week’s update I thought I would take a few moments to comment on what I’m currently seeing in the church. I am so happy and pleased with this amazing spirit of service and generosity that we are seeing within the church. Last Sunday we had over 230 people in our services and the last two weeks we have had offerings that have greatly surpassed our weekly requirements. This should encourage all of us as we seek to be a church that is “connecting, caring, and changing”. I commend you on your faithfulness and the support of the church. As we continue to have large crowds and the spirit of generosity we will be able to plan and pursue “next steps” for our church.   As our giving continues to grow it will open up doors for us to better minister, to offer better programs and support staff, and to vision cast for what God is doing in this church. In addition to this, I believe that God will personally bless those who have this spirit of generosity. I would like to say thank you for answering that call in your life and for your obedience to the Lord….it is evident.
