LCC Weekly Update 7-16-15
Greetings LCC,
Since I sent out a pretty lengthy email earlier in the week, I’ll make this one short and sweet, just highlighting major upcoming events. I would like to say thank you to all of the families that have been so wonderful to my family and I, during the birth of third child, Joy Kate. Taran will be back with the praise band this upcoming Sunday and she is excited! We also want to encourage you to invite all of your friends every Sunday, as we are on a quest to pack that place out every Sunday.
Some brief announcements
- Our one day celebration of Vacation Bible School will be this upcoming Saturday, July 18th, 9am-2pm, held at the Logsdon community center. Bring the LCC kids and bring some friends with them. They will also be collecting school supplies to send to the kids of Brooklyn New York, for the upcoming mission trip.
- Our NYC mission team will be leaving from the ministry center, 3271 Alvey Park Dr. on July 18th at 8pm. Show up to send them off with prayer and goodies and snacks for the road!
- Class 301 will be held on July 26th at the Ministry Center @ 2:45. If you have completed class 101 and 201, come and learn about your SHAPE and the ministry God has given you!
- Summer Bible Study is going strong. Meets at 6:30 on Thursday Nights at Wing Ave Baptist Church, located at 634 Wing Ave. Come join us, childcare provided for small children.

Please be in special prayer for our NYC mission team this upcoming week. They will be traveling to Brooklyn New York to work with Metrocity Church, a north American mission board church plant, by helping conduct their very first Vacation Bible School. Add these names to your prayer list.
