Update 10/2/17
Greetings Life Community Church,
What a wonderful day we had yesterday! We are grateful for Dennis, Nicole, and Stetson King and then Alyssa and Cody Mosely joining Life Community Church. We welcome them to the Church Family.
We also had an amazing night last night with our “NIGHT OF LIGHT” service. This service was intended to get us ready for our Fall Growth Campaign. As we explained last night, the Fall Growth Campaign is an annual time where we connect all sermons, life groups, and all activities to one core principle. It is intended to be a time of revival and renewal in our church. Last night we introduced our theme “GOD’S LIGHT- 40 Days in The Word”. Fellowship events, worship services, sermons, outreach events, EVERYTHING will be centered on The Word.
Here’s a brief summary of the campaign
*It will begin on October 22nd with a High Attendance Sunday. Be praying about who you will invite.
*Life Groups are a really important piece of the campaign. Your groups will be doing a video study and then discussing it. Throughout the week you will have a workbook that you will be working on daily. It’s a short daily activity that teaches you how to study your bible. Make sure that you signed up to get a workbook, everyone will need one.
*We are inviting people to the campaign with Bibles. Since the theme of the campaign will be “40 Days in The Word” we have Bibles available for you to pick up and give to the person you are inviting to come. What better way to show people that we need to be in The Word than giving them The Word! (we are making more available for the next two weeks because of the exciting response last night).
I am extremely excited about our upcoming campaign. I know you are too. Let’s make sure we take time to make this season a priority in our church.
Don’t forget that this Tuesday Night will be our “FIRST TUESDAY” prayer meeting. This very important time in our church draws us together to seek The Lord. I hope you can come on Tuesday at 6:30.
Life Groups meet during various times of the week with several on Wednesday night. If you don’t know what group to be in just show up on Wednesday night, drop your kids off at Kids Life or Youth Group, and we’ll get you into Life Group.
