LCC Update- Dec 27 2017

Greetings Life Community,

I trust that everyone had a wonderful Christmas this year.  My family and I were incredibly blessed this season.  We have much to be thankful, which includes our church family.

I wanted to give a few quick updates about Christmas service:

Our Christmas Eve service was packed!  As usual, it’s one of the best-attended services we have at our church.  We did not get an official count that night, but we are estimating that we were close to 400 people that evening.  

We are praising God for a great Christmas offering!  We raised $6,034!  100% of this offering will leave Life Community Church and go towards four different ministries.  We will be giving to the International Mission Board (Lottie Moon Christmas Evening), North American Mission Board (Annie Armstrong Easter Offering), to our local Sunrise Children’s Services, and to a local Habitat for Humanity house being built right here in Owensboro.  

I would like to thank all of you for your incredible commitment and dedication.

The New Year will bring many new opportunities.  One of those opportunities will be remodeling of our auditorium.  There will be a “Night of Vision” on January 7th and then a special call Family meeting on January 21st.

Very important to note:  We will have a COMBINED worship service on January 21st at 10:00.  Please mark your calendars for that exceptional day.  The special family meeting will take place after that service.
