July 29th 2017 Update

Greetings LCC,

Just wanted to take a few moments to share some summer updates with you.  
Summer Bible Study is going great! If you aren’t attending on Wednesday nights I really want to encourage you to make it out.  We are studying the purpose of the church and why the church is essential!  Every Wednesday at 6:30.

Vacation Bible School is coming the week of July 9th!  Make sure you mark your calendars.  If you have friends with children please pass the word.

Be praying about the 2nd service.  We are considering launching a 9am service on the Sunday after Labor Day.  If you would be willing to be a “seed family” to help the service get started, please send me an email and let me know.

Team New York will be leaving July 15th for a week of missions in Brooklyn.  They will be helping church planter Sterling Edwards with a Vacation Bible School.  There is also an opportunity to feed prospective members they are reaching out to.  Sterling has asked our team if we could help feed them a meal on that Sunday night we arrive.  Maybe you cannot go to NYC, but you would like to help the team out by being a financial contributor for the meal.

First Monday Night Prayer service will be held on July 3rd.  Make sure you come out at 6:30 for a special time of prayer.  It is an important part of our services, where we ask God to provide our needs and show us His will.  I encourage all church members to attend.
