Michael Edwards

Lead Pastor

 

 

Pastor Michael was raised in a church-going household and believed the gospel for himself at 7 years old under the pastoral leadership of Dr. Glenn Weakley in Hendersonville, TN. While being blessed to sit under some wonderful pastors, Michael grew to love the word of God and was called to preach as a teenager. 
 
Before joining the staff team at Life Community in December of 2020, he served the previous 5 years as a lead pastor at another Kentucky Baptist Church, and four years prior to that as minister of evangelism and local missions at Living Hope in Bowling Green. He holds the Master of Divinity from The Southern Baptist Theological Seminary and the Master of Christian Studies from Union University (TN). 
 
Michael is married to his best friend, Stacy, and they have 5 daughters. 

 

 

Jason Nichols

Associate Pastor

 

 

Jason serves the families of Life Community Church as the Associate Pastor. Jason answered the call to ministry at the age of 20. Jason attended Clear Creek Bible College in Pineville, KY. He has served in Youth and Children’s ministry for the last 20+ years. Jason and his family joined Life Community in 2017. In September 2017, Jason was called as the Associate Pastor.

Jason and his wife, Danielle, married December 2, 1995. They have four daughters Sara Westerman (Erik), Shelby, Kristina, & Kaylee. They also have three Grandchildren Logan, Riley, and Raegan Westerman. Jason and Danielle have a passion for working with students. It is their prayer that each student at Life Community will come to know Jesus as their personal Lord & Savior and know that God has a plan for their lives

 

 

Titus Chapman

Worship Leader

 

 

Titus grew up in a musical family of nine children, each child with their own unique musical giftings. At four years of age, Titus began playing percussion as his family traveled singing and preaching the gospel of Jesus Christ. His desire to learn and grow led to Cincinnati Christian University. It was there, he was mentored by a professor that took note of Titus’s passion for creating an all inclusive worship environment where all God’s children can worship together freely. Titus has shared his passion for the Lord to numerous churches, ministries, schools, and worship events throughout the Cincinnati, Lexington and Louisville areas over the past 15 years. He has conducted workshops on Bridging Cultural Gaps in Worship and helped locally with Worship on the Water for several years. Titus is married to his wife of many years, Laura. They have one teen son-Jacob and live right here in Owensboro, Kentucky.
